Peace On Earth

As I look out my windows at the falling snow and contemplate the season, I am at peace. I am grateful for the tender mercies that our Heavenly Father blesses us with. They may be big and yet so often they are so small that we often overlook them as just coincidences. I have been truly blessed this year. There have been so many miracles that have taken place in my life and I know that Heavenly Father is aware of me. That I am his daughter and that He truly hears my prayers and answers them to my personal needs. This alone is such a great miracle that so many people are unaware of. I hope that at some point in everyone's life they come to this realization and are able to feel their Heavenly Father's love for them.

I have been blessed with people in my life that really care. I am grateful for these friends and family. My family is such a source of support when I'm struggling and when I'm conquering my demons. They are always there and for that I am truly grateful. My dear husband and children are so patient and forgiving of my weaknesses. They bring me joy!

I've truly loved this Christmas season. I've had time to slow down and really enjoy everything about it. The past few years it seems like I was too busy. So I've been very blessed to enjoy it and share it with those around me. I am really at peace and wish this for everyone this Christmas season and in the coming New Year! May we all know and share the joy of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Cool Factor in Cars!

So last night as I layed in bed - not being able to sleep, I thought of Frazzled and Frumpy's blog about how her husband bought his first car and it was the car she liked. I had to laugh. Most of my friends are not Car-girls. In fact in the past as I've talked with them about cars, they say, "I just take what my husband buys me and am glad it gets me from point A to point B."

I hate to say it, but I'm a Car-girl. Don't know why. It may be because growing up I'd listen as my brother and his friends all argued the points of various brands of cars and trucks. You know, Ford stands for Found On the Road Dead. And how Chevy's are easy to soup up.

My boys are also into cars. I thought they'd each just get a basic car to begin with, but that was not the case. Each of them got pretty racey cars. My oldest got an Audi A4 for his first car and my youngest got a souped up VW Jetta. I could hear the Jetta coming from blocks away because of the muffler system. Needless to say, I never complained because it meant he was on his way home and I knew he was safe. After their missions I thought their tastes would be a little more moderate, that didn't happen. One got an Audi A4 while the other got a BMW and then traded that in for an Audi S4 (a Souped up edition).

Funny thing is my husband is not a Car-guy. He's just happy to have a car that gets him from point A to point B. It doesn't matter how ugly it is, he's happy. I on the other hand need to research out what comes standard on the vehicle that I'm looking at, what the gas mileage is, if it comes with heated leather seats, fog lights, etc. A couple of years ago while I was working and could afford to pay for a car, I researched out the best SUV - (Small ones) that I could find. Oh, and I have to mention that my cars to some extent have to have the COOL FACTOR! This is a really important thing. I think because of how I was brainwashed by my brother and his friends. Even though it has to have the COOL FACTOR, it must still be affordable and sensible. How hard to find is that!? So as I researched the cars out, I found a great little deal - a Toyota Rav4. It had to be a limited and have the heated leather seats. I went to the dealership, after having printed out the specs and everything off the interntet from a site back in Boston. I told them this is what I wanted and at the price that I wanted. They said they couldn't do it. So I told them that was okay and I walked out. I got a phone call the next morning saying they had the Rav I wanted and at the price I wanted. I was so proud of myself and my husband was proud of me too. I loved that car, but when I quit work I had to sell it. I keep telling myself it was just a car and I actually have a pretty nice car now.

But being the Car-girl that I am, I love SUV's. I'm now on the prowl again. I've talked my sweet husband into selling the car that we have and I'm looking for another one. I'm back to researching and think I've settled on a car. I looked at Hummers - they really have a COOL FACTOR,but they're a little flamboyant and they don't get the gas mileage I'm looking for. But they are COOL. I talked to my daughter about her Jeep and thought about getting one of those, but she talked me out of it. She has one and says they are not that good in the snow. I think they'd be pretty loud on the road too. I don't want to spend through the nose because I'm not working yet and so I can't look at the Ravs either. So I think we're looking at a Hyundai SantaFe. Doesn't quite have the COOL FACTOR of some of the others, but it seems like a nice car and it gets good gas mileage where we have to travel to see family now. Anyway, like Frazzled and Frumpy - I must say that my sweet husband must love me alot, because he has agreed to go look at them. We'll see if he fits inside one as he's pretty tall. Thanks heavens he's patient with me and just smiles when I start talking cars. I wonder if he knew he'd married a Car-girl when we got hitched 26 years ago? What a great guy! I must say I'm thankful he's so willing to go along for the ride. I'll let you know how the car hunting goes!! And I've got to tell you, to me it's always exciting to get a new ride!! I guess that's how a Car-girl thinks!! =)

This is the view I worked out to today. It is from the front of our house. I loved looking out and seeing the sun peek through the clouds and sparkle on the snow. Logan is just over the hill from us and before the sun came up, I could see the lights reflecting off the clouds from the city. It was really pretty cool. We haven't gotten quite the same amount of snow that they do in South Weber, but H will have the white Christmas that she was hoping for.

This is the view that is off our deck. I love seeing the fields and farms across the river from our house. It is such a peaceful and calming sight for me.

When I drove over the river this morning a pheasant flew by and landed next to the bridge. It was huge. I just thought of how beautiful the area is that we are now living in. There is wildlife right in our backyard. I am also grateful that we found this beautiful valley and have been so blessed to move here.

I think when we put in the yard this summer we will have to put in a good sledding hill so that when the grandkids (future) come up in the winter we will have a fun place to go. There is enough room between the hill and the river so that we can tube and not end up in the river. I think it will be tons of fun. We're also going to put in a firepit like we had at our last house and that gives us a great gathering place for the summer. What fun to plan ahead. It will be alot of hardwork, but I can't wait. H has even asked if she can have a place to garden that's not in the main garden. I think we'll have plenty of room for that too. S is looking forward to having to get a riding lawnmower as the yard is twice the size we had at our last house and there are no boys living with us now to help. I think I might really enjoy that one. I had to tease him that we just might have to get a tractor. (There are these really cute little blue ones that alot of the farmers have up here. They look like Tonka toys that are blown up to real size. They are really cute. However we never would need it, but it's always fun to joke around about things like that.)

We are having a wonderful Holiday season and look forward to alot in the coming year!!

Love December!

Well, it's December and it has felt more like October. I must say I've really missed the snow this year. We are surrounded by many fields and though they were beautiful and I really enjoyed all of the changes we witnessed this year. Since the harvest I'd like to see more than dirt. I thought we'd have several feet of snow by now, but . . . . NONE! When the storms have come they've blown through and have blessed those further down in Utah than where we live. I must say also that all of our friends and neighbors that lived with us in the windy town of South Weber have nothing on us up north. The one good thing about the wind here though is that it will blow from the north and then equally it will blow from the south - needless to say - the trees here grow straight and are not angled, thank heavens. That was a worry!

It's exciting to have Christmas in our new house. We're still working on little projects here and there and hopefully by next year we'll have all of the outside outlets done so that we can put up our outside Christmas lights. (ha-ha) It really has been fun. I've had to figure out where to put all of the old decorations as we don't have the room that we had before, but with the living room and the dining room all being one big room we're able to have the whole house Christmas and not just a couple of rooms. I can be in the kitchen and still enjoy the Christmas tree and all. I like that. It seems a little more festive somehow. I'm even excited to do Christmas cards which is very unlike me. It seems nothing after all of the wedding invites this year. =)

I love December and the beginning of winter. I love the spirit of it all and enjoying family and friends. I hope everyone has a wonderful December, a very Merry Christmas and the beginnings of a Beautiful New Year. I will post again probably this month, but just in case thougth I'd better get this out!! Thanks for all of your love and support this past year. It has had so many ups and downs and we've experiences so many things that we haven't before. It's been a joy!!

Super Saturday

This morning we woke to the first snow of the winter in our new house. It was kind of exciting. We've only gotten a skiff, but to us it was still exciting. It was also neat to know that our new home is well built and warm. The wind has blown all day and we've been cozy warm.


Today was also our Super-Saturday in our ward. Last week I was put in as the counselor over this. Needless to say, I had some stress. However it was totally unnecessary. The ladies that were over this activity had it together and under control. I was able to go and totally enjoy getting to know these ladies as well as others in our ward. I felt very at home and so welcomed. This is how it has been here since we moved in. We began attending this ward in May when we first moved to Tremonton and were welcomed with open arms. And now that we are in our home everyone is still so welcoming, kind and understanding (especially when I have to ask names 2 or 3 times). We are still getting to know names, finding out were who lives, etc. But it is truly home. I love it here.


This weeks project has been my back splash in the kitchen. It was fun, but pretty intense. Here are some pictures and I'm glad I only have the grout on the black left to do. I love doing these things, but I do tend to stress that they will turn out like I want when I'm done. I think this turned out pretty good. I'm happy with it. My project next week will be painting in my bedroom. I'll put more pics up after that is done.

No Rest for the Weary!!

So, we are finally in the house, and I must say it feels so great!! We've been in a week and most things are working. There are a few recepticals that we must have wired backward, but we will be fixing them this week. We've had so much help with this house and there are so many people that I am grateful to. My dad for one. I don't know what we would have done without him. He corrected all of our incorrect wiring problems and wired the house when we couldn't. My brother-in-law the plumber. He got our radiant heat up and running. And I must say that I love it!! We had great painters. They were some guys that work with Sam who paint on the side and they did a great job. We had Creekside Cabinets do our cabinets and I love them. I love spending time in my kitchen. We had Les Harah of Quentisentials do our tile work and he also made our concrete countertops! He put in alot of work and I have to say it again he did a great job! So needless to say I love our new home. We had a great contractor Mike Udy. He and his crew did a wonderful job from start to finish and I would recommend him to any and everyone! What a great guy.

So you would think I could kick up my feet and take it easy, then I take a look at the garage (it is so full of stuff). I can't believe that people can accumulate so much stuff! I say stuff, because for the past 6 months or more I haven't missed any of it. So I've come to the conclusion that if I haven't used or missed it, then the DI needs it more than I do. It is really a refreshing feeling. I open a box and if I haven't use or missed it while we've been in transition, I close the box and put it in the DI pile. That pile is really growing. But we're in our house and that's what counts. I figure at this rate I can go through most of the boxes by mid-November and maybe have some semblence of organization. My husband will really love this, because then he can park his car in the garage. That is a major goal, and I think it will be accomplished.

What a Summer

So I've finally had a breather and decided to take a minute to write. To say the least, this has not been the summer we had planned, but now that it's almost over I can say we've done alot, been blessed alot, and had alot of experiences to cherish!

First it all started with the building of the house. I won't go into details, because anyone whose been following knows how that's been going. Then the 2 weddings are now done and we are the proud new parents of 2 new children (one of each). It's been alot of fun getting to know each of these kids and they have been a blessing in our lives. They are both alot of fun to be with and I think our children chose their spouses wisely! It's great to see how they compliment and bring out the good in our kids.

Maddi's wedding got moved indoors and was alot of fun. I think the DJ thought the kids were crazy. They were so full of energy at the end - Personally, I was dying. It started at the Draper Temple where Maddi and Chris were sealed for Time and Eternity. It then moved to the Temple grounds for pictures. Yes, we were finally able to convince Maddi that it was okay to take off the sunglasses and have a few pictures with her beautiful blue eyes showing! That is something I don't think she will appreciate until she's older. Then it moved to the Olive Garden. Did you know that they have a Gluten-free menu. Anyway it was great, the food and the company. Maddi's friend Annie came and she is always such a delight to sit and talk with. Then we had her reception in a local church (there were signs posting the way because I forgot to include instructions in the invites). That's something I need to remember if we ever do that again. I didn't plan on it being Conference weekend. I should have known it would be bad weather. Growing up my mom always said, "When the saints meet, the Heaven's weep!" I should have known. It was so good to see family and friends and be able to have the time to talk and get reacquainted. To hear how things have gone since we moved from the area and talk about what's going on up here. The hugs were also a plus! Anyhow, we had a wonderful day with Maddi and Chris and now their off on their honeymoon. It doesn't get any better than that!

We will be in the house in a little more than a week and then I think I'm ready to put my feet up and snuggle in with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa. What a Summer!!!

New House Update

Well it has been an interesting experience that we've been going through. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you have to rethink and change everything. We should be in, in about 2 1/2 weeks. I can't wait. Here are some pictures. I hope you enjoy seeing the progress.

Driving Lessons

With our Sunday meetings over, dinner done and a chance to take a break, Sam suggested that we take Hannah driving for her first lesson. I told him he could take her, that I just wanted to relax. Now, I'm so glad that I did. Our truck a 1997 Dodge Ram is now sporting a dent in the front bumper and hood. I guess they were at the church parking lot and Sam was trying to get Hannah to park in a parking space straight. Well, instead of hitting the breaks she accidentally stepped on the gas and hit a tree. The tree was a substatial size so it didn't get hurt (thank heavens), but the truck didn't fair so well. There were 2 ladies in the parking lot getting into their car and after seeing how Hannah was driving they couldn't wait to get out of there with their car.

All night Hannah kept asking how she did. She thought she'd done pretty good until Sam told her - "Any time you end up with a dent, you didn't do so good!" I had to smile. This is one of those things you don't want to forget and years from now we'll have these great memories of how Hannah's first driving lesson turned out. I'm glad I can look at this and laugh, because it really is pretty funny. I think I'm going to leave the teaching up to Sam on this one. I'm really enjoying just hearing about it and not having to experience it!!

A Work in Progress

Today has been a wonderful day. We went to the Temple dedication with family after a great weekend at our family reunion. It was a special spiritual experience and I for one am so grateful that I was able to attend. Our children came over after for a fun afternoon. The house really seemed empty after they all left to go home. Some of them left to get ready for work tomorrow and others go back to school. We are so blessed to have such wonderful children. It was really fun to listen as I made dinner in the kitchen to them laughing, joking around and playing together in the other room. We have been so lucky to have 2 new children join our family and they fit right in. Again I feel so blessed.

So as I was sitting here tonight pondering after such a great day and spending time with Hannah and Sam tonight about where my life has lead to this point and the things that I have done. I had an ah-hah moment --

Ya know there are things that we do throughout our lives, really dumb things. We say something that hurts another or we act out in a really stupid (for me emotional) way. Those things that show how really truly human we are. Well, I've had quite a few of those in the past year. Things that I'm really not proud of in the extreme. Things I've learned from and hope to continue to learn from. Things I hope to always keep in my heart so that I won't ever hurt anyone in those ways again (regrets). But this weekend has brought forgiveness, healing, love and gratitude. I am so thankful for those people in my life (family and friends) that have been so willing to forgive me for those times that I really screw up. Maybe they see what I have the potential to become. It makes me want to be a better person. It really makes me want to show them that I can be something better. It makes me want to improve and try harder - to make them proud that they knew me and could call me their mom, their wife, their daughter, their sister and their friend. I guess that is why we are here to learn and to grow. To learn to love and forgive and to try to get it right. I am a work in progress as we all are. I'm just grateful to have people in my life that are willing to work with me, to love me and to forgive me.

I'm glad Heavenly Father is so patient with us. That he blesses us with friends and family that he knows will be a blessing in our lives. I guess sometimes we also need to remember that we are human, we make mistakes, and hopefully we are granted opportunities to make up for the mistakes we make. I surely hope so because I seem to make alot! I am grateful for the lessons I've learned thus far in my life. . . but I sure hope the lessons aren't as abundant as they have been this year. Thanks to all of my loving family and friends.

Our First Wedding

We went to the Temple with Parker and Jamie this last Thursday and they were married. It was beautiful. Their pictures were beautiful and it was a really fun day. We had a ton of family there and it was fun to share this experience with them. Jamie was a beautiful bride. I don't know anyother way to describe her. She really glowed. You could see how happy she and Parker were to finally be married.

We had their luncheon at Rodizio Grill in Salt Lake and it was fun. The people there really know how to put on a luncheon. I think they had to roll most of us out the doors. My friend Marian helped get flowers there for the center pieces and Maddi did a playlist for all of us to listen to. Essentially, it was perfect.

Then to top it all off - The Reception. Jamie's mom Kaylynn did a super great job! I don't think anyone could have pulled this off like she did. She was amazing. Everything ran perfect and it was so beautiful. It fit Jamie's personality to a "T". Their cake was beautiful, the tables and reception center was beautiful, the flowers were beautiful, and the guys even looked beautiful in their suits. Thanks Kaylynn!!

Needless to say, we couldn't have had a better day with them and are so happy to welcome Jamie into our family. What a great way to start off the weddings in our family! Thanks guys, we sure do love you!!!

The House

We'll be getting the final roof soon. Sam and I are working on the electrical right now with my dad. It's an interesting experience. We're real amatures compared with my dad. He's been very patient. Next we're hoping to get the outside on.

Charity

So in Relief Societ we had a really neat lesson on Charity. It reminded me so much of the friends I've had in my life. There was part of a scripture read that I really liked. It said, "I do not dwell upon your faults, and you shall not upon mine." (Peter 4:8) It reminded me of so many of my friends that have been willing to overlook my faults and just love me for who I am, and hopefully I can learn to do better at this and be a better friend.

We also talked about how when you want to be someone's friend how you are so willing to overlook their faults, but when it's someone you don't know and you aren't making an investment in a relationship how we are so quick to judge. We talked about how we should look at these others and remember how they are also children of our Heavenly Father. We never know what another person is going through and so we have no right to judge them.

Then we talked about simple acts of kindness. It reminded me of a sister in a ward we attended in Layton. She said how she had 4 little kids and no car. Her husband took their car to work each day and so she was at home with these four little children. At first she felt sorry for herself and got depressed. She then prayed that she would be able to do something that would help her. She was inspired to bake brownies and take them to neighbors. So she would bake the brownies and load the kids up in a wagon and off they would go. Through this simple act of kindness to her neighbors, she made many friends, she helped others by talking to them in their times of need, she got outside herself and her depression was forgotten and she was a wonderful example to her children of what charity is. I will never forget her and the lesson she taught me. There are so many times I get caught up in just thinking about my problems and I need to learn to get more outside of myself and help others.

I really enjoyed my Sunday and being with others that were so willing to share. Charity - I need to learn to have more of it.

Look at it go!

So I saw several friends this week and they were all wondering how the house was going. I know I've been bad the last week or so, so here goes. . . . These are the last week and a half. We are really moving along now!!!

Friends

So today we went back to church in our past ward. It was wonderful to see all of our friends. It's so fun to go back and see how everyone is doing. I love with friends how you can be gone for a time and when you see them again it's as if you'd never been gone. That is how it was today. We love those friends and neighbors that supported us when we lived in S.W.

Now that we have moved, we are making new friends in our new ward and feel very at home. This past week we went to a ward BBQ and square dance. It was a really fun time getting to know our new neighbors and ward members. I had one sweet sister grab me and give me a hug and tell me that she is so glad that we have moved into the ward. I was so grateful. Everyone here is making us feel so welcomed and loved. It makes me happy each and every Sunday and I look forward to going to church and seeing our new friends. It makes me more and more excited to get moved into our new home.

Basement

These are pictures after the basement was poured. They had to do it on 2 different days because of the rain. Next will be the framing.

Continuation

So we've been working on the house still. We've put in rebar and tubing for the in-floor heating system. They have been trying to pour the basement floor, but with all of the rain we've had it's been a little touch and go. They finally got it all poured last Friday and they started to frame yesterday (YIPEE!!)

Footings and Foundations

Our Footings went in on Friday and our Foundation is being framed up today. They will pour the walls tomorrow and then take the forms off on Wednesday.

It is really cool to watch this all take place. All of the guys we've talked to that are working on this project are really nice guys.

Beginnings of a Home

Well, as promised, here are pictures of the start of our new house. I can't believe how fast they have been moving this week. They measured and staked the lot on Tuesday. They began digging the hole on Wednesday and finished on Thursday morning. Then on Thursday afternoon they started putting up the forms for the footings and if our luck holds out they will pour the footings on Friday. I truly hope that things continue to move like this. I know there will be days that it moves slowly, but I can't wait to get into this new home. I feel like a kid before Christmas. . .

Things Continue to Go Nuts!!

Well, I guess this is the Summer for happenings. Yes, our oldest daughter "M" got engaged this past weekend. We are so happy for her and "C". It all just adds to the adventure of our summer. We will have "P and J's" wedding first, then hopefully get into the new house and then finish out with "M and C's" wedding. Who could ask for more. Although if "L" comes home and tells me he's getting married this Summer, I think I might sign up for a nervous breakdown. LOL.

I must say that this is a time in our lives that I for one am really going to enjoy as I know this will never come again. We love our children dearly and as the new ones join our family we are really loving them too! They all add so much to our family. It makes our family that much more interesting and fun. Both "C" and "J" are talented and fun-loving as well as easy-going and easy to love. We're going to have fun and hope that many of our friends will join us in our adventures.

A Crazy Start

We had so many friends come and help us move and we are so appreciative. All went well. We moved in a down pour of rain and some of the die-hard friends stayed with us to help. We are so grateful!

So our first day here was pretty uneventful. We attended our new ward and found that the people here are very kind and very friendly. We enjoyed the day.

Monday we were able to clean and finish the house for the new owners. They are very nice people and I know everyone in our SW ward will love them. Monday night found a broken dishwasher at the new apartment and a gas leak that the Tremonton Fire Department had to take care of. It was pretty crazy.

Tuesday the new owner found a leak at the house and we had to get that fixed. He (the new owner) was great about it. Evidently there had been a slow leak under the kitchen sink for quite some time and wouldn't you know it, as we moved decided to really leak. We were able to get that fixed and will continue to be in touch with the new owners to make sure everything is taken care of properly so that they can enjoy this home that we loved.

Things are settling down and we are finally hitting a groove. They will dig our hole next week and I will put pictures on the internet for all to see.

Thanks again for everyone's help. You are an amazing group of friends. A special thanks to BP for all of his hardwork and for putting up with us for the day! Big B, we truly owe you!!

Things I Will Miss in South Weber

• I will miss the setting at my table in the mornings and watching the sun come up through the mountains.
• I will miss my Asian Pear tree.
• I will miss walking in a quiet neighborhood.
• I will miss sitting on our deck on a summer evening watching the dragonflys.
• I will miss the breezes that keep the house cool in the summers.
• I will miss our neighbors.
• I will miss seeing President Crittenden washing his car at 2 in the morning.
• I will miss mowing the grass for a year.
• I will miss watching the deer across the street on the hill.
• I will miss watching people zoom up our street only to find out that it's a cul-de-sac and that they have to turn around.
• I will miss our neighborhood get togethers.
• I will miss most of all our friends and ward!!

We have been truly blesses by wonderful times here in South Weber that we will cherish the memories of. It has been a wonderful 12 1/2 years here. It seems like only yesterday we were moving in the week before Christmas. Time flies and things never stay the same. Friends come and go and our lives are touched. Thank you all for making our lives more fulfilled by being a part of it! We love you!!

So Much Stuff

It is incredible to me how much stuff we have. As I've been packing and going through things, I am truly amazed at how much we have accumulated over the 12 + years we've lived here. I pack and pack and it doesn't seem to make a dent in what we need to pack and move. I just hope we will be able to get everything we want packed in time. I have been able to see where we've been excessive and I want to make sure that we don't do this in our next home. I like the thought of simplifying our needs and not give into our wants so much.

As I look at what we have and ponder on it, I realize just how blessed I've (We've) been. When Logan came home off his mission, to sit down to a full dinner each and every night was overwhelming to him because we have so much and those he had served in the Dominican Republic had so little. He told us how most people just lived day-to-day trying to make enough money to put a little food on the table each night for their families. When it's his turn for family prayer, he often will pray that those without food will be able to find what they need to survive. It is really eye-opening to the needs of others.

Well, I just wanted to take a break and now I must get back to packing. . . . . . . .

24 Short Years Ago . . .

So 24 years ago our first son was born. He has been a wonderful joy in our lives. He is so easy-going and fun-loving. It's been an interesting journey with him. He has always found it so easy to make friends and to be one. He was born on a beautiful spring morning, not unlike today. He was always such a sweet baby. He has been such a good big-brother to his siblings. They seem to love each other. And it's funny, but they've grown to be good friends. It is heart warming to see.

There were times when he got really dirty and now that he owns his own roofing company he seems to come home alot of days looking like this. But he is such a success in life that it all comes in stride for him. He is happy with what he is doing and becoming, and we're so happy for him.

P and J are getting married later this summer. We are so happy for him and glad that Heavenly father sent him to be our son. We love him dearly and want him to know how much we truly love him!! HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY!!!

The Beginning

Well, we went to the lot yesterday while H was at her soccer practice with her new team. Here are the beginning pictures. This is the lot that our future home will sit on.

Here is a view across the street from our lot. There aren't too many homes yet.

This is looking south to the end of the cul-de-sac from our lot.

This is looking North where the cul-de-sac begins.

So as we go through this process, I will be updating the pictures so that everyone can see what's going on. I'm pretty excited for this to all get started. Hopefully it won't be too long before I have a picture with a big hole being dug. Do I sound excited, I really am. It is going to be a fun adventure.
