So I'm still trying to figure this out and hopefully I'll get as proficient as Maddi my oldest daughter. I've added pictures from our Jackson Hole trip. It is the first time I ran a river. It was way fun! We had a really good time.
Maddi moved to Moab this Spring and spent her whole Summer down there. So for our family vacation we ran the river down there. Maddi was our river guide and she was great. Again - we had tons of fun! Maddi is moving down to Moab permanently in January to work down there. She loves it and is great at what she does. She has been dating a youngman she met down there. His name is Eric. We're still getting to know him and he seems to be a really nice guy.
Parker has been busy since getting home off his mission a year ago. I think he's finally figured out what he wants to do with his life. He has started his own roofing company called "Cornaby Brothers Roofing." He is also dating a sweet, wonderful young lady, named Jamie, that we love. She has become pretty special to all of us.
I couldn't find any pictures that I've taken of Hannah this year in soccer. That is my second job!
We have a lot of fun going from games, to training, to practices, to the games she's refing. I really enjoy the time I get to have with her. It's good talk time. She really has a zest for life and a real love of soccer. She's a keeper on the Wasatch Lightening team.
Logan is still on his mission and will return home sometime at the end of January or the first of February. It will be wonderful to have him home again! I can't wait. It's amazing how long 2 years really is.
Sam and I are holding down the fort and trying to be the best parents we can. We stay busy with our hobbies when we get a chance. Sam is working on cars right now. I think he is fantasizing about becoming a mechanic, but I hope it doesn't last for too long. He is good at it though. He and I also like to golf when we get a chance.
I have been taking a Silver Smithing class. We are learning how to make silver jewelery. I've had alot of fun learning and trying to be creative. I am trying to make Christmas gifts, but I might have to re-think things because some of the items I've made take more time than I thought they would to make. There are some really talented ladies in my class and I hope to become as good as they are someday. I've also been blessed to have a ward where they are having a quilting club. I will be trying my hand at quilting soon too! I can't wait to do that as I love being creative and using color. I kind of went crazy in the fabric store. Luckily I had a friend there that help me stay in control (ha-ha). It was fun. I think the ladies there thought we were crazy.
I've been loving this time of year. Not only do we get to watch Hannah play her soccer, it's time for the garden to be harvested. I also love the colors changing on the mountains. Sometimes it seems like there is a clarity to life as the weather cools and the days shorten. I was able to spend time with my mom this past Saturday bottling peaches. I've been blessed with such wonderful parents. They have always been such a blessing to me. The peaches turned out so pretty. I was able to give some away to my neighbors. I love to do that. I always like trying to give to others. I like seeing the surprised looks and the smiles on their faces.
I think I'm going to like doing this. I don't take the time to write in journals. This is a great way to be able to write my thoughts down and share. Thanks to everyone that has been so supportive. I really appreciate your friendship!
