Autumn Days

We've been going to soccer games and enjoying the season. It seems like we've been so blessed this year. Our garden produced well and we really enjoyed tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, carrots, and pumpkins. I used to love the summer and I still enjoy it, but it seems like with the Autumn weather comes a clarity that you don't seem to get any other time of the year. I love the changes in the colors on the mountains near our home. And now with the dusting of snow it seems like it's even more vibrant.

Hannah's soccer team is doing well. Tonight they won and it was a good game to watch. It's fun to wrap up in blankets and cheer them on. She is the goalie on her team. She tries so hard. It's hard to see when they lose, because she takes the loss on her shoulders and thinks it's all her fault. So needless to say, I love when they win and she's happy.

This weekend I have to go to Kansas City for a conference for my work. It should be fun, but you know how it is when you have to leave your family. I wish Sam would come, but someone has to be home to take Hannah to her games and such. Hopefully the time will fly and I'll be home before you know it. I'm hoping that while I'm there that I'm able to see some cool Art museums or some fun stuff like that. And I hope I come home more knowledgeable about scheduling for work. I'd like to think I know what I'm doing there!! For those of you that don't know, I work for Weber State University in their Scheduling/Registration area. I like the ladies I work with. They are so much fun!! I've been very blessed to work with such wonderful people. I'll have to write and let everyone know how it was when I get home.
