New Beginnings

Well, it's here, the new beginning. I was done working on Friday for Weber State University. It was a learning experience and I'm grateful for the friends that I made there. They touched my heart in ways I would never have imagined when I started there 2 almost 3 years ago. I made so many neat friends.

So it was a little weird getting up today and not being on the run to get ready for the day or have anything planned to do. Oh, over the next few weeks I will have to get the house packed and get ready to move and I'll be busy, but it's crazy not having to get up and hit the floor running. I even have time to bake cookies and listen to music while I enjoy doing it. I'm looking forward to this new time in my life.

I am looking forward to having time with my kids and Sam and being home for them when they come home from school and work. It will be fun being here to talk to them and hear about their days. It's not like we never talked before, but sometimes when I got home from work I got busy making dinner, doing household chores and basically trying to make things run smoothly. Now I'll have the time to have things done and then be able to just settle in and be here when I'm needed. I think I'm reallly going to like this. I feel peace and contentment right now. It makes me smile.

Yay for staying at home! I love when you said you can bake cookies while listening to music. That's one of my favorite things to do. I also love how you use just our initials, p and j makes me think of peanut butter and jelly everytime. I guess we do go together like that! Love you.

What an exciting time--getting ready for so much change. It's always hard for me to go from doing so much to doing very little--like when little ones start school, etc--but somehow life finds a way of getting busy again!

We're sure going to miss you and your sweet family! :(
